Darkside Global making moves....

So, darkside global making moves and believe setting trends to accomplish and make this company a staple in not only the comic book world but in many other plans and levels we have. One a side note really appreciate the businesses that are professional, and getting back in a timely manner, and doing what they say they can do without all the BS..makes doing business easier and want to continue to relationships with them. So we at darkside appreciate that...helping us get the product we want to you guys and girls..

I lIke a lot of things...

I like a lot of thing classica cars, good friends, beautiful ladies and Glee. So today I heard on the untimely passing of Cory Monteith he played the character Finn Hudson on Glee. The Darkside family blessing go out to his family..
..on another note we here at DSG are moving forward and with great steam on the completed and corrected Gateway City Chronicles anthology one..one often five anthologies. We thank you all for the continued support...DSG team

Supercon Saturday

Darkside Global is at SUPERCON! We've been there for two days and we've gotta a bunch of endorsements from some really famous people! Check these out!

Poltergeist? Naw... Just Geist

The sketches for Geist (who is the trickiest of ladies) are in! She's hot... Seriously. She's in the process of being inked while Francisco colors Orphan.

Writers are... writing. Nothing new to report on that front without some major spoilers. 

On a side note, apparently the water in Broward County is not safe to drink. I had some a few minutes ago. If I get Cholera and don't make it, Alex gets my World of Warcraft account! 

...and Chao gets to update the blog from now on!

Touchups and such

Alex and I spent a few hours last night fixing some continuity issues in the Max Hunter comic. I have a newfound respect for the work that artists do... it was a huge pain to fix these seemingly minor things that only perfectionists like us would notice!

The comic is moving along at a really fast pace now. Carlos has finished Orphan up, while Jose (a new addition to the team) has just finished sketching Geist (she's cool... can't wait for you to meet her). The artists are moving on to the next character's mini-story while Jon starts inking Geist. We'll be giving Orphan some color soon!

As for the writers, we're just chugging along, producing stories for the next two comics!

All of the paneling and inking is done on Orphan. She looks incredible!

Max Hunter has gotten some color, too. We're working on touching it up to make sure it's perfect.

The writers had a meeting a few days ago to work through some metaplot. We've got a neat group of stories incoming for Anthologies 2 and 3. Stay tuned to find out about them.

Progress Update

Anthology I is coming along! Our artists are working on the next mini-comic- featuring Orphan. She's got something of a secret... but you'll have to read the comic to find out.

Carlos is working on the panels while Jon and Francisco ink and color them! The writers are editing the story and working on some Bios for the characters we'll be putting up as the comic releases.

Dark Side Global Presents: "Gateway City Chronicles part 1; Max Hunter"

By now, you should have received the first portion of our five part anthology "Gateway City Chronicles: Max Hunter". If you haven't, please log on to our website (www.darksideglobal.com) and sign up for your free copy. This is the first of five parts of the first anthology. Throughout the summer, the rest of the other superhero's will be presented and the story of Gateway City will begin to unfold.

Once the anthology is complete, we will be releasing the digital comic as a whole, for free.

FIRST!

This is a big day; but probably not for you- for you, today is likely the same as most days (though it may be a big day for you... If it is, then good luck... or congratulations... or whatever!)
But, today is a big day for us at Darkside Global. This is our first blog post! We're new to blogging, so we hope this comes out alright!

On this blog, we plan to keep you guys updated the various projects and events we're working on.
So... here's what we're working on!

Our first project is "The Gateway Chronicles: Anthology 1". It's something of a compilation comic, where we explore some short stories revolving around some of our characters. We are about halfway done with this sucker: all the writing is laid out and about a quarter of the comic is drawn and inked!
